Our Guide To Safer Sweating
Since we've been given the government go ahead to re-open on Sat 25th July, we've been busy prepping behind the scenes to ensure that when we open it's as safe for everyone as possible.
You chose Gro to keep you fit and healthy, and we’re not planning on letting you down now. While we’ve been closed, we’ve been closely monitoring government & WHO guidelines and have implemented as much as we can across all three floors.
Keeping our members & staff safe is our number priority, we have raised the bar on our own high standards on cleanliness and will continue to do so.
Class sizes have been reduced to a maximum of 7 members per class.
Each member will be allocated their own training space of which they will stay for the duration of the class.
Inside each training space will be the designated equipment for each member. There will be no sharing of equipment. Please help us by sanitising your equipment at the end of each class.
All class instructors will be wearing gloves and either a face mask or shield. Members are more than welcome to wear gloves & masks when entering and leaving the building but it is not recommended during any high intensity class.
Please arrive 5 minutes before each class and leave promptly after. We are a social bunch but for the time being please help us keep our areas un congested.
There will be additional time between classes to minimise congestion and to allow time for our team to deep clean and sanitise each studio.
1. Arriving & Timing
Please arrive just before your scheduled session. Unfortunately we cannot allow for waiting in our reception.
If you arrive early, please wait outside until it is just before your scheduled time. Press the buzzer and your trainer will open the door. Please sanitise your hands at the station immediately after the door .
Each session will now last 50 Minutes, this will allow your trainer to sanitise each piece of equipment in between each session.
Like before the room will be divided into two, each member will have access to their own equipment throughout the entirety of the session. No waiting around!
All trainers will be wearing gloves . Members are more than welcome to wear gloves & masks if they feel comfortable. There will be sanitisng wipes and hand gel available at all times.
New Studio Rules
1. Check Yo Self
Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of covid 19, if you are unsure of the symptoms you can double check here
2. Arriving for class
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before any class. If you wish to pre order a post workout shake or superfood smoothie please allow time for this too.
We have allocated standing spots outside the gym, please use these until the instructor comes down to collect you. This is to ensure we always have a one way system in place and no overcrowding on the stairs.
3. Pre booking and late arrivals
Please make sure you are booked in via our app or website and have a space, as we only can allow up to 7 members per class.
We know life can get in the way sometimes but please try to be on time (5 minutes early) to class as for reasons above.
4. Come prepared
At the moment we are advising that all members turn up in their kit ready to rumble! This is to avoid congestion outside of our changing room.
Our toilet is available for use just not the shower!
Please bring a sweat towel & a full bottle of water.
1. Hand Sanitiser
Upon entry it is compulsory to apply hand sanitiser. We have numerous stations across all 3 three floors. There will also be sanitising wipes available during class too.
2. Equipment Sanitation
We encourage members to clean their own kit after each class but the instructor will also deep clean every piece of used equipment after each class and at the end of the day.
3. Studio Cleaning
The studio will undergo various deep cleans throughout the week to maintain a high standard of hygiene
4. Social Distancing
There will be signage and floor markings across and outside our studio to help guide everybody on social distancing.
